In this context, clinics have served as a familiar and important basis for community residents linking their living environments and health care services.In response to this trend, Junior College A has provided training in clinics as an integral part of learning community nursing. Prior to such training sessions, classes designed to teach basic knowledge on health care services implemented in clinics are held by clinicians in the college.The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of these classes on students, and review the teaching methods in the training program implemented at clinics. The results demonstrated that the classes helped students learn the roles of clinics and nurses working there as well as comprehensive community medicine.
