Analyses were conducted involving students to examine the effects of the system for electronic chart education three and five years after the development. The following findings were obtained: 1: An improvement was noted in students’ self-evaluation of their abilities to “understand and analyze information on the psychological aspects of patients” - one of the educational goals. 2: There was an improvement in students’ self-evaluation of their abilities to “develop an overall image of a patient”. 3: A number of students did not have confidence in their ability to operate an electronic medical chart system.
