 note = {岡山県旧阿哲郡神郷町を事例に、過疎政策の展開と過疎化の実態について、旧町の市町村計画をもとに検討した。旧神郷町においては、主に産業基盤の弱さから「交通通信体系の整備等」に偏重した過疎政策が行われてきたが、町行政を通じて各集落に配分された社会資源は旧町内に均等に行き渡り、その下で小規模集落を含めて、すべての集落がその生活を維持してきた。町行政が担ってきた社会資源の受け皿としての機能は、今後も地域での生活を継続させていく条件の一つとして再構築が求められる。, The purpose of this paper is to consider the actuality of under-population in a rural area. To begin with, an outline of the policy toward under-population is demonstrated. After that, an areal classification of depopulation in this area is explored.
