| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，地域高齢者における親密な他者の有無とその関連要因を明らかにすることである。分析 対象者572名のうち，親密な他者が「いる」と回答した者は478名（88.7％）であった。ロジスティック回帰 分析の結果， 親密な他者の有無と有意な関連を示した変数は， 性別（ Odds Ratio : OR＝ 2.29， 95%Confidence Interval : CI = 1.25-4.21），年齢（OR = 1.94，95%CI = 1.03-3.68），生活機能（OR = 13.3， 95%CI = 3.98-44.4），教育歴（OR = 2.38，95% CI = 1.31-4.30），社会活動（OR = 5.05，95%CI = 2.00-12.76） であった。すなわち，女性，年齢が高い（後期高齢者），教育歴が高い（義務教育修了以上），生活機能が高 い，社会活動に従事している者ほどが親密な他者をもつ傾向にあった。今後は，親密な他者の有無が高齢者 の心身の健康や心理的安寧に及ぼす影響を検討していく必要性がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The aim of this research was to clarify the presence or absence of close acquaintances in community-dwelling elderly. Among 572 subjects analyzed, 478 (88.7%) responded “yes” when asked whether they had close acquaintances. As a result of logistic regression analysis, the variables that showed a significant association with the presence or absence of close acquaintances were: gender (Odds Ratio:OR＝2.29, 95%Confidence Interval:CI=1.25-4.21), age (OR=1.94, 95%CI=1.3-3.68), life functions (OR=13.3, 95%CI=3.98- 44.4), educational attainment (OR=2.38, 95%CI=1.31-4.3), and engagement in social activities (OR=5.5, 95%CI=2.-12.76). In other words, individuals who were female, older (latter-stage elderly), highly educated (higher than compulsory education), had high life functions, and participated in social activities, tended to have close acquaintances. Further research is needed to investigate what effect the presence or absence of close acquaintances has on their physical and mental health and psychological well being. | |||||
