本学では，救命医療教育の基礎的事項を学ぶ教育カリキュラムの開発に取り組んでいる。本学が考える救命医療教育のねらいと，カリキュラム開発に向けた取り組みについては，前稿にて報告した1)2)。本稿では平成22年度にＡ短期大学看護学科にて実施した「統合と実践Ｃ（災害看護）」と，災害看護に必要な技術を学ぶ「統合と実践演習」の概要を紹介し，学生が認識した授業の印象，困難だった体験について分析した結果をもとに，大学看護学部における災害看護系の科目としての『救急医療特論』構築に向けた教育上の課題を明らかにした。 学生たちは演習を伴う授業形態に戸惑い，集団での生活で発生する困難を体験しても，集中して学べる環境と，未経験の被災当日をイメージできる視聴覚教材の工夫により，救護に必要な技術を学ぶ際のモチベーションが保たれ，授業に対し真剣に向き合うことができていた。また，災害救護の専門家による救護活動の体験談からは，真剣さや緊張感，厳しさなどを学び取り，災害看護への興味・関心をもつ動機づけとなった。日常から離れ，授業に集中せざるを得ない環境に置かれたが，学生が困難な体験だったと認識していたのは，生活の不自由さだけではなく，災害時に発揮できる知識や技術を修得するという課題達成に向けた困難感であった。 This is an introduction of the overview of the class of disaster nursing which was conducted at the nursing department of A junior college. Then, the students' impression about the class and difficult experience were analyzed to clarify the issues for developing the class of disaster nursing at the nursing department in the university.Being provided with an environment where they could concentrate on studying and the devised audio-visual education materials, the students worked on the class seriously. Also, by listening to the experiences of relief activities, they became interested in disaster nursing.The students were feeling they would like to acquire knowledge and skills that can be useful at the time of disaster, and feeling some difficulties during the process to accomplish the tasks. |
